What this tool reads
Face reading, called gwansang in Korea and mianxiang in China, has classically worked from proportion: the relative width and length of the face, the balance between forehead, midface and jaw. Our tool measures those proportions from your photo and places your face in one of five classical types — round, oval, square, heart and long — then gives a full reading for that type across temperament, work, relationships, health and advice.
We should be clear about the boundary. The measurement reads the geometry of the face, not the fine features that a traditional reader would also weigh, and it is not reading your character from your appearance in any literal sense. Treat it as a structured way to think about a tradition, not as a judgement of who you are.
Your photo never leaves your phone
The analysis runs entirely on your own device: nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, and no account is needed. On low-memory phones the heavier on-device model is skipped altogether and the reading is produced directly, so it completes quickly instead of freezing the browser.
Getting a usable photo
Face the camera straight on in even light, with your whole face in frame and hair off your forehead. Angled shots distort the width-to-height ratio, which is the single measurement the classification depends on most, so a photo taken from below or to one side is the usual reason a reading feels off.
Questions people ask
Faces change with age, weight and expression, and traditional readers have always taken that as part of the point — gwansang was read as a record of a life being lived, not a fixed label. Nothing here is medical, diagnostic or hiring advice, and it should never be used to judge another person. It is for entertainment and reflection.
